Nevadans, it is back! The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is once again here in the valley.

The home in Henderson is marking a first for the organization. St. Jude is not building a house from the ground up this time. Instead it will be a complete renovation.

News 3, The CW and more have partnered with St. Jude to make this happen.

"I get to come in and do my two favorite things: I get to design and I get to give back," said celebrity designer Michael Maloney. "This house, as you see it right now, it's completely going to be transformed. This is a new thing — to remodel a home. St. Jude hasn’t done that in a giveaway before, so this is going to be new and different and very exciting."

Once the demo and remodel are completed, the home will have an estimated value of $415,000. But it can be yours with the purchase of a $100 raffle ticket.

"100-percent of the proceeds from all of the tickets that are purchased from the dream home campaign go back to the hospital," said Teresa Buscemi with St. Jude.

This time around, St. Jude is looking to top the $850,000 that the giveaway raised last year.

"$1 million. It's an amazing campaign. Last year the Las Vegas community was incredible with responding to its first year in the state of Nevada ever."

If the pull at your heart strings isn't enough, the organization is hoping the work of a celebrity designer, tied in with a little Vegas flare, will get you wanting to give back.

"I'm excited to bring that look here to the home, too. There's the strip, there's the shows, there's all that — it's about what we are doing here. We are creating a beautiful home for residents of the valley," said Maloney.

The winner will be drawn in early October.
