Las Vegas resident Bob Halicky was a pilot for Southwest Airlines for 18 years before a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis effectively ended his career.

However, after a recent reversal from the FAA, he is now the first person with diabetes to captain a commercial flight.

Capt. Halicky spoke with us about some of the latest advancements in diabetes technology and medicine.
