As a Transamerica Tomorrow Chaser, Michael Kutcher will start in the back of the half marathon at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon.

For every competitor he passes Transamerica will make a donation to the American Heart Association – part of the organizations’ partnership that promotes heart-healthy lifestyles as integral to achieving a sound financial outlook.

Michael Kutcher, the twin brother of actor Ashton Kutcher, has overcome his fair share of challenges. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy before he began kindergarten and at the age of 13 he was diagnosed with heart failure. Doctors gave him a life expectancy of three to four weeks but he defied the odds and received a successful life-saving heart transplant.

Michael is taking on this challenge to give back and raise awareness for the more than 120,000 Americans waiting for transplants.
