The American Cancer Society Action Network will be honoring those who have been touched by cancer and remembering those lost, during the Lights of Hope ceremony in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 12, 2017. Lights of Hope bearing the names of those touched by cancer will line the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in an experience to fight back against cancer. For a small amount of $10, you will be joining other advocates in having a voice with our lawmakers, and honoring or celebrating a loved one.
Pinot’s Palette is a Wine and Painting experience, with three locations. They are teaming up with the American Cancer Society.
People can donate $10 and decorate a bag in honor of someone affected by cancer.
The special Lights of Hope for Cancer decorating event will be held at the Pinot's Palette at The District in Henderson. They will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Aug. 13 from 1-4 p.m.
The American Cancer Society will then bring all the bags to Washington D.C. in September for the actual ceremony.
