DENVER (SBG) — A bear rescued during a wildfire is recovering at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

In a heartbreaking video posted to Facebook, the bear is seen with all its paws covered in bandages.

Staff at the rehabilitation facility say the bear will make a full recovery and should be ready to be released back into the wild in six to eight weeks.

The bear was rescued from the East Canyon Fire that started on June 14 in southwest Colorado from a lightning strike during a storm.
