Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Annual O'Sheas BLOQ Party at The LINQ Promenade
A sea of green will cascade over The LINQ Promenade on Saturday, March 17, as thousands of revelers celebrate at the annual O’Sheas BLOQ Party – the free St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the heart of Las Vegas. This year’s event will be sponsored in part by Royalty Exotic Car Rentals.
The festive party – centered around the iconic Irish-themed casino and pub, O’Sheas Casino – will offer a traditional St. Patrick’s Day celebration with a Vegas-style twist. Activities include a raucous St. Paddy’s parade, Irish-inspired food and drink specials, beer overflowing and live entertainment throughout The LINQ Promenade.
Events begin at 9 a.m. with a Bagpiper Breakfast, when a bagpiper band will roam the Promenade entertaining early-bird partiers with stops at O’Shea’s, Off The Strip Bistro & Bar, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar, Tilted Kit Pub & Eatery, Flour & Barley – Brick Oven Pizza, Virgil’s Real BBQ and Canter’s Deli.

Live performances will continue throughout the day at the BLOQ Party along The LINQ Promenade, which concludes at 10 p.m. Additional entertainment on the Promenade will include celebrity beer pong and large-screen TVs broadcasting the college basketball championships. Meanwhile, O’Sheas will host a lineup of live entertainment including Roxy Gunn, Silversage, Darby O’Gill and DJs, as well as drink specials, inside the pub, ensuring a rollicking good time for all until 3 a.m.
An abundance of spirits will be available all day including green beer (of course!), Irish-themed cocktails and pop-up beer trucks to ensure the flowing of celebratory suds. Plaza Hotel & Casino celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with green fireworks at 10 p.m., dome party starting at 7 p.m
A free St. Patrick’s Day party will overtake the iconic dome entrance of the Plaza Hotel & Casino on Saturday, March 17 starting at 7 p.m. and culminating at 10 p.m. with a live green fireworks show shot from multiple locations on the property.
The Plaza invites the public to join in the fun taking place throughout the evening under the dome, where guests will enjoy St. Patrick’s inspired entertainment and a DJ.
The Plaza will also debut a new 10 ft. x 5 ft. Plaza pyrotechnic logo sign that will be behind the stage and flaming throughout the celebration, until the party culminates with a 3-minute live fireworks show, lighting the sky up with green pyrotechnics. The fireworks will be shot from multiple locations at the Plaza offering people numerous views of the fireworks from the dome and Fremont Street.
The party under the dome will also offer several drink specials, including green beer for $4, an Irish Mule for $5, $15 buckets of Guinness beer (6 cans), $3 shots of Jameson Irish Whiskey, and a can of Guinness paired with a shot of Jameson for $6. The Plaza’s popular $15 yardstick well cocktails will also be available, and guests at the dome party will receive discounts redeemable for cocktails at the Plaza’s Omaha or Race & Sports Book bars on the casino floor.

Henderson Celebrates Luck of Irish With St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
The historic Water Street District in Henderson will turn into a sea of green for the 52nd Annual Southern Nevada Sons & Daughters of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival. The celebration takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on March 16; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on March 17; and noon to 7 p.m. on March 18 at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St. Admission is free. Some activities may require purchased tickets, which are available at the event.
The Southern Nevada Sons & Daughters of Erin have kept the Irish heritage alive in Southern Nevada for more than half of a century. Not only does the St. Patrick’s Day event share Irish traditions and culture with the community, it also is one of the organization’s largest fundraisers, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which is dedicated to funding childhood cancer research.
This year’s event features festivities for people of all ages and interests. The family-friendly event includes a carnival, car show and festival, complete with live performances by Irish bands and Celtic dancers. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving fundraiser will be held from
4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 17 during the festival. Men, women and children can participate in the charity fundraiser by joining the Southern Nevada Sons & Daughters of Erin team or creating their own team.
The parade, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. on March 17, is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the region. It features more than 100 colorful entries, festive floats and community groups.
A ride-through-style 3D haunted house is a new addition to the festival midway, where attendees can also ride the iconic Zipper in celebration of its 50th anniversary.
