The Neon Museum says it will recognize acclaimed director Tim Burton with the Glow Award at its annual "Boneyard Ball" this fall.

Rock band The Killers will also perform at the gala, scheduled for Oct. 12 at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, according to the museum.

Burton, whose films include "Batman," "Alice in Wonderland" and "Edward Scissorhands," will be receiving the Glow Award ahead of the debut of his fine art exhibition at the Neon Museum.

The exhibit, called "Vegas Lost," will be the first time Burton's fine art will be on display in the U.S. in nearly a decade, according to museum organizers.

"Vegas Lost" is scheduled to open to the public on Oct. 15, with tickets starting at $30 for general admission and $24 for the nighttime feature "Brilliant!"

Tickets and tables are available for purchase for the Boneyard Ball, with individual tickets starting at $600.
