Bring home a new best friend for free during 'Pups for the Cup' at The Animal Foundation

The Animal Foundation

The Animal Foundation is joining the hype as our team skates toward the Cup by inviting the community to come adopt a new furry friend for free.

The new "Pups for the Cup" promotion honoring our team’s quest for hockey’s biggest prize will run from Friday, June 1, through Tuesday, June 5.

Some of the shelter’s most handsome and well-built dogs – champions in their own right! – will be available to adopt for free at either The Animal Foundation’s main campus at 655 North Mojave Road in Las Vegas or the PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center in Henderson.

The free adoptions will include spay/neuter surgery, microchipping and up-to-date vaccines. A city/government fee of $10 will apply for residents of the City of Las Vegas and the City of North Las Vegas.

Prospective pet parents are encouraged to stop by The Animal Foundation’s campus adoption facilities at 655 North Mojave Road or to visit the PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center at 286 West Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson beginning tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This newest adoption promotion is just one of the many life-saving and life-changing efforts implemented as part of Mission: Possible 2020, The Animal Foundation’s commitment to save all healthy and treatable animals in their care by the end of 2020.

The Animal Foundation is the highest volume single-site animal shelter and pet adoption center in the nation and provides refuge for thousands of homeless animals throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
