The next step for the Raiders could take them across the Interstate. County Commissioners are set to vote on a development agreement that covers infrastructure around the stadium site.
The deal between the County and LV Stadium Events Company LLC sets up, among other things, pedestrian access to the future stadium.
Potential parking plans have been the subject of debate at Commission meetings before. The plan on the table now has the team paying for construction of pedestrian bridges or underpasses that would connect the Russell Road stadium site with casinos on the adjacent Boulevard. Fans would take advantage of resort parking garages on game days.
