CW stars hit red carpet for iHeartRadio Music Festival

The iHeartRadio Music Festival was one to remember.

It’s a concert full of performers from country to pop, to hip hop and even hall-of-fame rock bands. It’s the best of the best. It also brings out some of Hollywood’s brightest stars including stars of the CW’s hit TV shows.

Heather Mills was backstage chatting with the actors who said they were so excited to see such an array of talent on stage.

Candace Patton of the CW’s hottest show, The Flash, said this is the event for music lovers. She joked, “I think that’s what I’ll be doing the rest of the night is stalking my favorite artists which isn’t creepy at all.”

Turns out, even stars can be star struck.

Casey Cott from Riverdale said, “We’re presenting Carrie Underwood. I’m a huge fan. I grew up watching American Idol, so I’m kind of geeking out a little bit.”

Fellow Riverdale heartthrob KJ Apa said, “I want to see JT. I’m a big JT fan.”

The cast was there to watch, to present and to even give a little hint of what’s to come this season. Luke Perry said, “Somebody is in trouble. Somebody could be going to jail.”

Free and walking the red carpet, the ladies of the new Charmed reboot. For them, the night is all about fashion. Melonie Diaz said, “I’m really embracing the witchery of the show, the fashion of it. I want to wear stars and horoscopes. And candles and moons and things.”

The have magic but Nicole Maines is hoping her character; TV’s first transgender superhero; will conjure up another hit season for SuperGirl. “There’s just this outpouring of love social media,” Maines said.

Get ready! This season on the CW is sure to be as hot as this iHeartRadio Music Festival concert.

Nefessa Williams of Black Lightning said, “It’s amazing to see the characters and how much they’ve grown and the level. We’re going up a notch.”
