Cowabunga Bay and St. Jude's Ranch bringing together siblings separated in foster care

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is having a special sibling reuniting event on Wednesday at Cowabunga Bay.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children’s Child Focus program will reunite more than 75 foster care children on Wednesday, June 14, thanks to Cowabunga Bay Water Park.

The children are comprised of sibling groups that have been separated in the community foster care system with few chances to see each other throughout the year.

This summer fun event will allow them to reunite, bond, and cool off on Cowabunga Bay’s thrilling attractions together.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children’s Sibling Preservation Program helps preserve the critical sibling bond for brothers and sisters separated in foster care by providing opportunities for them to spend time together and build on their relationship. It is the only nonprofit in Clark County dedicated to preserving sibling bonds between foster care children.

Also in June, visitors have the opportunity to "play like a kid" with everyone getting in for kids' admission, Monday through Friday.

Slide Nights with fireworks will begin on June 16 and the park is now open daily.

Cowabunga Bay is located at 900 Galleria Drive in Henderson.
