Sahara Avenue, Suite 110. Located in the heart of The Lakes, Salud Mexican Bistro and Tequileria showcases the remarkable flavors of conventional Mexican cuisine with a unique, modern flair.
Created by celebrated Executive Chef Israel Reyes, the Salud Mexican Bistro and Tequileria menu offers guests an eclectic and distinctive menu, with delectable dishes, fit to satisfy lunch and dinner cravings alike.
Favorites include Octopus Salteado with Romesco lime sauce, smoked pepper and crème fraiche; Jalapeño mac and cheese featuring three quesos, jalapeño and pork crackling; De La Casa ceviche with dover sole, shrimp, octopus, heirloom tomatoes, avocado relish and shallots; Lobster Enchiladas with cilantro pepita cream, queso fresco, black beans and cilantro rice; Duck Carnitas, which is red wine citrus braised with crackling, berry jalapeño chutney, cilantro rice and black beans; Quinoa and Mushroom Chile Relleno featuring roasted poblano peppers, roasted corn and mushroom sauce guajillo drizzle; Gnocchi Mexicano with house-made gnocchi, guajillo mushroom cream sauce and queso fresco; and classic Street Tacos with pork belly, carne asada, al pastor, barbacoa or pollo asado.
Cap the meal off with a sweet or savory treat, including Tres Leches Flan, a mouthwatering Churro Waffle, or delicious homemade ice cream.
For many, a Mexican restaurant is judged in large part by the quality of its margaritas. In that category, Salud Mexican Bistro and Tequileria does not disappoint. The restaurant’s craft tequila bar, which features an impressive selection of both traditional and modern margaritas, as well as the “Made in Vegas” cocktail collection.
Created with fresh ingredients and high-end tequila, cocktails include the Salud Caddy with Espolon Reposado Tequila, lime juice, Cointreau and Grand Marnier Float; the El Churro with house-infused Cinnamon Blanco Tequila Licor 43, lemon, lime and a heavy dash Aztec chocolate bitters; the El Diablo with Espolon Blanco Tequila, lime, Crème de Cassis and ginger beer; the Salud Breakfast with Kimo Sabe Joven Mezcal, lemon juice, agave nectar, orange bitters and egg whites; and one-of-a-kind Brochacho Bomb, which takes a shot of Mezcal of the bartender’s choice, which is dropped into a Negro Modelo and chased with Chapulines, aka salted crickets.

Sahara Avenue, Suite 110, Salude Mexican Bistro and Tequileria is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Happy hours specials, including $5 margaritas and sangria, as well as a $5 food menu, are available daily from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
