Cirque du Soleil will meet the Happiest Place on Earth next year for a new collaboration.

Cirque and Disney Parks said in a joint statement Monday that tickets are now on sale for the yet-to-be-titled show at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The show will open for previews on March 20 and officially premiere on April 17, with a residency at Disney Springs, according to the announcement.

Disney announced the show during its D23 convention over the weekend, saying animated characters would be able to interact with performers.

"We have joined forces with Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios to create a show that combines Disney animation and heart with the unique artistry and theatrical sensibility of Cirque du Soleil," Cirque du Soleil President and CEO Daniel Lamarre said in a statement.

Cirque du Soleil currently produces seven shows featured on the Las Vegas Strip.
