Music icon Céline Dion brought her long-running residency at Caesars Palace to an end this weekend.
Dion's performance on Saturday at The Colosseum was the final of the 1,141 shows she's performed across two separate residencies that began in 2003.
According to a spokesperson, the final show included a tribute to her late husband, Rene Angelil, a performance of her new song "Flying on My Own," and a photo collage made of images from the residency.
"I’m both proud and humbled by what we’ve accomplished at The Colosseum since we began 16 years ago, when René and I first shared this dream," Dion said in a statement. "This entire experience has been a huge part of my show business careerone that I will cherish forever."
Dion's first residency began in 2003 and ran for 717 shows through 2007. Her second residency started in 2011 and lasted for 424 shows.
The conclusion of the residency will give way to Dion's new world tour, which starts in September.
